The Miss University of Georgia Competition provides opportunities for young women to achieve their personal and professional ambitions. It is a preliminary competition and not-for-profit affiliate of the Miss Georgia Scholarship Organization. Licensed by the Miss America Organization, the program works to empower young women through education and service. MAO is comprised of 51 organizations, including all 50 states and the District of Columbia. The Miss University of Georgia Organization has made available over $4,000 in scholarships each year to the winner and top finalists.

Presidential Summit serves as an opportunity for networking and fellowship among chief officers of registered student organizations. Presidential Summits focus on various topics such as managing highly effective teams, money management, and officer transitions.
